Thank you for your interest in my book, “Still Scarred, Totally Healed”.   It is not by chance or coincidence that you stopped my site.

Perhaps God is getting ready to help you end a chapter in your life, and give you a "new beginning". 

I wrote this book to help victims of child sexual abuse to heal, even if they are adults now. Using Bible-based principals I show you how to reach your full potential and enjoy your life. 

If like me you have suffered in secrecy and silence for years because of the sin commited against you someone else, this book can help you.  

You need to know that you are not alone.

God loves you with an unconditional love, just as you are. He believes in you more than you believe in yourself. And He can do for you what you cannot do for yourself.

He really does sees our secret scars and hears our silent tears.  When you invite Him into those broken places in your life He will heal your scars. He can make you whole again. When you are wounded during your childhood years often times you are vicitmized again and again. But you can break that cycle.

You don't have to live a defeated life. God loves you with an everlasting love. It doesn't matter what happened in your life. What matters now is that you get healed and become the person you were born to be.

In the past I searched for love in all the wrong places. There was a hole in my soul that I tried to fill with drugs, alcohol, and sex. Educational goals and achievements only brought temporary happiness.

With what appreared to look like "success" still left me filling unfilled. Without spiritual insight and understanding about my situation I was wounded on the inside. The hole in my soul impacted every area of my life.

I've come to understand that all the material things in the world can not help sooth the pain. I know what it was like to feel  unlovely and unworthy, while everyone else thought I was lovely. They didn't see the hidden scars that I so desperately needed to be healed. 

On the outside I wore a smile but on the inside I was screaming for help. I felt dirty, distant and ashamed. I wore a mask and tried desperately to fit in. 

I struggled with anger, guilt, depression and suicidal attempts.

What I so desperately needed was "Divine healing and Intervention", but it wasn't until I became sick and tired of being sick and tired that my whole life changed.

My breakthrough came when I decided that I needed some help. I didn't know how my help was going to come, but I had to find the courgae to trust that it would. I realized that didn't want to die. When I became desperate for God He touched me and made me whole. It was a process, but He gave me "new life".

Do you want to live?  You have a choice. You can "Choose Life"

If you are ready to take a journey towards wholeness, this book is for you. You must choose to heal, so that you can live.  Whenever you are ready, God is ready. He desires to free you from the pain that has held you captive for so many years. He wants to turn your whole life around.

You don't have to have a lot of faith. A mustard seed size of faith will do.  God has given every person a measure of faith. Trust and believe in Him. If you've tried everything else, and all have failed. Now, try Jesus.

Regardless of my past my future is bright. Why? Because I "choose" to be loved by him. Today, I invite you to try the greatest love of all. 

"Come as you are, if you are burdened by your past and I will give you rest". There is healing, rest and recovery for your soul. May you seek peace, joy, happiness, meaning and your new identity on your journey towards healing.

Perhaps childhood sexual abuse is not your story. But regardless of who you are we're all in need of healing in some area of our life. Everyone has experienced pain in their lifetime. Be it during childhood or later in life.

This updated version was prompted by God’s Sovereign voice. I never will forget the words the voice of the Lord clearly spoke to me one day. 

The words spoken into my spirit, as I as sitting in class at the New York Theological Seminary were, “Don’t you sell another copy of your book.  What good is it that you are telling people that you are healed, but you’ve not shared what scarred you in the first place? If you don’t go back and re-write your book and tell the truth, you are doing a disservice to my people”.

It is impossible to fully explain what happened when God spoke this revelation to my heart.  But at that moment, I submitted to His voice.  For an entire year I did not sell this book.  When God speaks we have a choice.  Obeying the voice of the Lord leads to blessings. Disobedience often leads to death spiritual or physical.   

My prayer is that you will open not only your heart, but your mind to what God wants to do in your life.  If you want to be healed soul, spirit and body He's looking for you.
